Mr. Majchrzak's demonstrated commitment to helping fellow practitioners succeed in their practices will be reflected in his enthusiastic service on the San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA) Board of Directors. Within the SDCBA, he has served in many capacities, including as a member of the Executive Committee of the SDCBA Legal Ethics Committee. In addition, he served as co-editor and co-author of SDCBA's own Ethics Quarterly. Ethics Quarterly is a highly-regarded newsletter created by the SDCBA’s Legal Ethics Committee, which summarizes recent issues and holdings of ethics-related cases.
He has also served as an attorney coach for San Diego High School Mock Trial Program. The program is part of the California Mock Trial Program, a statewide academic competition in which high school students compete at the county, state, and national level. This highly-regarded program attracts over 500 participants from across San Diego County, helping promote a deeper understanding of our legal system. The Mock Trial Program also promotes the development of basic skills, analytical abilities, and self-confidence, and promotes cooperation among students of various cultures and interests.
Mr. Majchrzak was also asked to serve as a Mentor in the SDCBA New Lawyers Division Mentoring Circle Program. The NLD Mentoring Program provides lawyers that are new to the profession the opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences, advice and support within a group of attorneys in the same practice area.
